Bjarni Tryggvason Astronaut Bjarni Tryggvason was a very popular and informative guest speaker as one might imagine. He packed our little clubhouse with members from other chapters as well as our own, along with a few other guests. The youngsters in the audience waited patiently for autographs and he graciously answered their questions. Most of his talk centered on his years as an astronaut, particularly his shuttle flight on STS-85 back in 1997. Bjarni is an honorary member of our chapter.
